WHO'S WHO
Sami Leigh
Founder + Chief Experience Officer
Sami (she/her) is an experienced events professional with a passion for the industry. When she's not working you'll find her at as many concerts and festivals as her schedule allows, headbanging with the best of them. From food truck festivals to trade shows to roller discos and more, Sami's extensive event production experience is driven by a deep love of concerts and live events. Contributing to the chaos that is the event industry isn't just her professional aspiration, it's her personal mission.
Sami got her start by volunteering at music festivals such as Boston Calling and Bonnaroo as well as other local events while attending Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. She secured various relevant work experiences including interning for Huka Entertainment where she was able to work directly on Pemberton Music Festival in 2016.
Upon graduating with a BS in Sports, Entertainment, & Event Management she landed an Event Manager role with Townsquare Media in Portland, ME & Portsmouth, NH where she produced 5 trade shows and 4 lifestyle festivals/events annually. During her time at Townsquare Media, Sami also traveled around the country working one-off Event Production Assistant gigs for other markets' events including Taste of Fort Collins in Fort Collins, CO and the Untappd Beer Festival in Charlotte, NC.
Next Sami traveled to Boston where she worked at City Winery managing concerts and events in 5 event spaces, including two music halls. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic hit during her time here and her role was impacted by the global shutdown. During this time off Sami had to find a new way to find fulfillment while honoring her passion for live events amid a very bleak time in the industry.
Sami secured an Assistant Manager position with the City of Providence Parks Department at The Providence Rink where she combined her passion of live events and ice skating to create a lasting impact on Rhode Island's Capital. In 2022 Sami was promoted to Programming Supervisor which enabled her to create events and experiences including Roller Disco, Outdoor Movie Nights, Ice Shows, Wicked Walk: A Trick-or-Treat Experience, & more.
Today, Sami is pursuing her dream of creating events and experiences with Grrrl At The Rock Show Productions (est. 2023). With her drive, experience, & knowledge, she strives to bring together an amazing team and provide unique and memorable experiences for all.

SaMANATHA BRYAN
Event Producer
Sam (she/they) is an event planner, performance artist and feminist writer currently living in Providence, RI. She is the co-owner of Third House Events alongside everyone’s #1 crush, Leyna McKenney.
Sam pulls her passion for live music and entertainment from her lifetime in theater. Her experience as an artist informs her high standards of hospitality with clients, and she always strives to establish welcoming, inclusive environments with her events. She is a classically trained ballet dancer, a member of award-winning Boston troupes The Slaughterhouse Society and The Lipstick Criminals, and former member of Vadalna Dance Company until their close in 2014. Currently, she is a co-producer of B!tch Snot at Fete Lounge, the production manager for Walter Sickert & The Army of Broken Toys, and a proud board member of the Church of Slut in Boston, MA.
In 2007, Sam graduated with a degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University, and in 2021 she completed her B.A. in Liberal Studies, with a History Minor focus on social movements and revolution, and a concentration in Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies from Worcester State University. Stuck in her own Permanent Rebellion, you can always engage her in a heated conversation about women's issues, outsider cultures, and understanding art as a form of activism and awareness. She previously co-directed a short film in 2014 on women in metal as part of the Slaughterhouse Society production, "Sirens of Doomsday". This later inspired her to become the director and producer of The Scarlet Tongue Project, a documentary film and art collective exploring the social taboo of anger through art, culture, and intersectional feminism.
Forever curious about how things work, Sam began expanding her experience beyond the stage and restaurant world to include arts administration and venue management in 2017 when she became the venue manager for the Maine International Film Festival. She has served as concert manager for City Winery and Crystal Ballroom, and developed the private events department for Crystal Ballroom– because why not add “wedding planner” to your hat collection?
At her core, she’s really just a silly little guy who loves throwing a good party. She is psyched for the opportunity to partner with Sami’s incredible boss brain powering Grrrl At The Rock Show Productions, and can’t wait to take a selfie with you at the next show.
